Dear Spencer,
This past weekend we went to Destin, Florida for Lauren & Danny's wedding and as a bonus we got to bring you along for a mini-family vacation!
We spent the entire day Thursday and Friday together as a family. You took your first swim on Thursday and you absolutely loved the pool! You kicked and splashed like a pro and received lots of attention from the other guests. We also let you touch the sand, which you were pretty "meh" about. On Friday we went to the pool for a bit and then I had to get ready for the rehearsal dinner, so you and Daddy spent the rest of the evening napping.
On Saturday, Andy and Dawn came down and watched you during the wedding. They also brought along Jules and the three of them were the best babysitters, ever. They took you to dinner, to the pier and out on the beach for some late night crabbing. The number one priority of the trip was my duty as a bridesmaid, so we were very grateful that Dawn and Andy took you on some adventures in our absence on Saturday night.
Lauren and Danny's wedding was oh-so-sweet. Lauren was one of the most beautiful brides I've ever seen. The weather was gorgeous, the ceremony was sweet and the reception was a ton of fun. Of course, we missed you, but we had a great time witnessing two people we love dearly dedicate commit themselves in marriage.
